The Heart and the matters of the Heart; what does that actually mean?
The Heart of the matter is a matter of the Heart!
The most important, primary, or fundamental essence of an issue, problem, or matter at hand. Simply put, if it is essential to you, it can be at the center of your Heart. For example, if there is a concern when dealing with our children, it becomes the Heart of the matter.
Many other things can and for some have become The Matter of the Heart; the Bible states in Mattew 15:19, "For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, all sexual immorality, theft, lying, and slander."
What is the matter of your Heart at this very moment? Is there anything that is interfering with your Heart? Unforgiveness? Broken Hearted? Disappointment? Resentment?
It is time for us to examine ourselves internally - let's focus on our growth; remember, 2022 is all about you; it is all about me.
I am a firm believer that if God woke you up today, then today is another opportunity to do better to move on - to love on - to live.
